Elizabeth Reaser is an American television, film and stage actress who is most well-known for her performances in movies such as The Twilight Saga and series such as Greys Anatomy and True Detective. Elizabeth Reaser was raised in and was born in Michigan. Since she was a child her dream was to be an actor. In high school and her participation in the drama division of Juilliard School and graduated with a degree in the fine arts. After a successful guest role as a guest on The Sopranos series, she began her television debut as a full-fledged actress. In the following years, she was a part of various other shows which were equally popular such as The Jury and Hack. When she landed the role as Alice Alden on the 2006 Saved Saved, her career took off. She then appeared in key roles in series such as Greys Anatomy, The Good Wife and True Detective. She appeared in films like Liberal Arts, One and Two and all five installments in The Twilight Saga.

Since her early years, Jessica expressed interest in the fields of television and film. The modeling industry was the start of her profession. She became an actress when the Australian casting director contacted models to audition. The role she was offered was"Kiki" from The Lightning Point/Alien Surf Girl. Since then, she's played small roles such as Peter Pan or Aquamarine. Roman Empire, a Netflix original series from its second season had her as Cleopatra. Additionally, she was in the classic Pirates of the Caribbean film: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Jessica was chosen for the role of The Outpost's lead role, Talon. An audition tape was sent to the producers. They also received an additional tape that showed her doing MMA. The producers were interested in whether she could do sword-fighting, and the next day she uploaded a video of fighting with swords. Jessica, after reading the script of the role she realized it was necessary to learn weapons. Therefore, she recorded her very first weapon instruction. Jonathan Glassner stated that they were awestruck by Jessica's performance during her first training lesson. This was the first time she had acted in a US important role since she has previously appeared in Australian films. The character is based on Jessica's passion for action by utilizing her mixed horses, martial arts, weapon skills, and athletic skills that allow her to pull off her actions and fully portray the powerful female character. Jessica has been trained in boxing as well as muay Thai in Australia and has also been taking classes at a mixed martial training facility for martial arts. Jake Stormoen was working on Season 4 when he was on Season 4 set when he met a wandering dog. It was an abandoned puppy who had been living in a set. Jessica took care of two puppies.
